The Wholesale Branch Manager will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating activities of sales workers to grow existing customer accounts across multi product areas and also constantly striving to introduce new accounts to the business.
Main Job Duties
Spearhead the growth of already established brands through building relationships with Key Accounts, and Independent retailers and work on bringing on board new accounts to expand the brand presence.
Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
Confer with Head of Sales and Marketing to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
Monitor sales of staff performance to ensure that goals are met. Provide staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
Plan and prepare work schedules, and assign employees to specific duties.
Analyse details of sales territories to assess their growth potential and to set quotas.
Visit retailers and sales representatives to promote products and gather information.
Participate in formulating pricing policies on products according to profitability requirements.
Keep records pertaining to purchases, sales, and requisitions and prepare weekly sales reports for management decision making
Taking Buyers through the catalogue of products, discussing the range and securing essential orders.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned or reasonably requested.
Skills & Competency Requirements
Intelligent and motivated professional with a strong background in SALES and MARKETING.
Strong commercial track record in winning new business and growing existing accounts.
Passion for productivity and unrelenting drive – you will need to have both of these and most importantly you must be able to show it!
Proven track record in building relationships with your customers.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape in Ghana and the confidence to introduce new product lines and develop existing ranges.
Excellent negotiation skills
Educational and Professional Qualification
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields with a minimum of 5years relevant experience.
