Customer Service Officer

The jobholder is responsible for receiving and directing visitors at the office reception area, receiving and processing customer orders and maintaining a clean and tidy environment at the reception area by ensuring everything at the reception works in perfect condition.

 

Main Job Duties

  1. Receive and direct visitors to correct destinations as per the Customer Care Guidelines
  2. Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  3. Answer telephones, screen and transfer calls, record and relay messages appropriately
  4. Receive orders via calls, emails, WhatsApp or physically and process them by issuing invoices to the warehouses for picking
  5. Process pro-forma invoices where required
  6. Keep manual records of all invoices in a safe and secure place
  7. Issue credit notes to internal and external customer as instructed by the Internal Audit Team
  8. Respond to enquiries from visitors and callers as per the Customer Care Guidelines
  9. Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings as directed
  10. Ensure a clean and orderly environment in the reception area
  11. Perform any other duty as reasonably assigned

Educational and Professional qualification

  • A First Degree in marketing or in any related field with 3 years relevant work experience.
